Hot weather is usually the cause of a car overheating. Although it’s not common, all cars have the possibility of overheating. If your dashboard temperature indicator light comes on, chances are your car is becoming too hot. Here are 7 tips to help your vehicle become cool again. 1. Turn the engine off When you’re on the road and your car overheats, pull over to the side of the road and let it cool off. 2. Keep a safety kit in your car. It’s smart to have some of the following in the car for safety precautions Coolant A tool kit A blanket A working flashlight Non-perishable foods and water 3.
